People who don’t like low rise jeans fall into 3 categories: 1 they have long hips, 2 they don’t want their lower stomach ‘exposed’ 3. They have a long rise body. All of which are fine!! But people with a 7 inch distance from vag-navel and short hip bones don’t look great in high rise jeans... unless you have them custom tailored à la Kardashian.

Since the pandemic... fashion is dead... and for good reason! People realised that clothing should be comfortable (imagine that) and that anything that does not make you feel free to move around or nap in... sucks. We’ve also learnt that comfortable doesn’t need to mean slob like. We’ve not only learnt to dress in silhouettes and colours that flatter us but this has also meant that our wardrobes have become smaller meaning we are saving money and are happier to do it because we are comfortable and happy with our clothes. Who came up with these trends? I see them everywhere and every video/AMhistoryr talks about how they won’t be wearing this or that... so who came up with this stuff? Cos I don’t see anyone dressing like this right now and even in the future... we are over it. I think that the fashion industry realises that the human race has evolved passed fleeting trends that titillate us momentarily in favour of ‘self care’... actually doing things that make us happy over buying things that make us look happy... don’t fall for it.
